Pilot Information

We will have normal flight operations all day at the airport. Please monitor Unicom 123.00 for activity  at or near the airport. The USNA parachute team will be doing some jumps into the airport and a group of aircraft will be doing a formation flyover the airfield mid day.

There will NOT be a waiver or TFR in effect.

If you are flying in with a vintage, antique, war bird,  homebuilt or very unique aircraft, we request you follow Ground Marshal instructions (123.00) to display parking. We have many of our based pilots who will be assisting with parking aircraft as well as ROTC and CAP to provide security. You will be met by a greeter who will provide information about the events of the day and free food and beverage for display aircraft crews

If you are flying into KGED in general aviation aircraft to enjoy the day, you will be directed to general aircraft parking also on 123.00. There will be a ground operations marshal to direct you. You will also be met with a greeter to give an events schedule and instructions on how to get to and from your aircraft across security lines.
