Pathways to Aviation 2019

2018 Expo Vendor Registration Pathways to Aviation/Stem Aviation – some exciting new things happening this year. We are looking to show HS Freshman/Sophomores just where and how choosing an Aviation Pathway can lead them. The world of Aviation is constantly changing and the career opportunities are in all areas – pilots, mechanics, technology, the exciting new advancements in drones and much much more. We will show you some opportunities, provide you some up close and personal time with a variety of different aircraft, BUT first we are going to tell you how a young African American Soldier became a decorated Pilot in a respected and storied group called the Tuskegee Airmen, serving in 3 Wars. We are proud to welcome Brigadier General Charles McGee to Wings & Wheels Weekend and to provide the opportunity to young people to meet him and listen to what it took to become a storied pilot and to become a Brigadier General. Students from Sussex Tech, Sussex Academy, Indian River, Woodbridge, Poly Tech and Delmarva Christian have all been invited and we look forward to hosting them having them see where the world of Aviation can take them.
