Is brought to you by the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, Delaware Aviation Museum and Wheels That Heal Car Club. Celebrating our 10th anniversary the popular Sussex County event on Saturday features a “fly in” of WWII-era and other vintage aircraft, a huge classic car show, entertainment by Mike Hines & The Look, and various craft & food vendors. The festival also includes WWII encampments & re-enactors, the return of the US Naval Academy Parachute Team and the ever popular, Pilot’s Flour Bombing completion.  The event has grown to include an Aviation Education Expo on Friday morning, which targets HS Juniors and Seniors and a highly entertaining WWII-era Dinner & USO Show on Friday evening-which is always a sell-out! This year we are happy to add the EAA Young Eagles program on Sunday, which will allow kids from 8 -17 to have a free plane ride (parent’s permission required). Parents can sign their children up at the EAA booth on Saturday. We are really pleased to be celebrating our 10th anniversary of this ever growing popular event, which takes place at the Delaware Coastal Airport in Georgetown. Hope to see you all there.
