We are hopeful that our event will take off as planned, so we are continuing to plan behind the scenes as we take all the necessary steps to comply with current restrictions and keeping our attendees safe. SO, what to expect?? A huge display of WWII vintage aircraft, most housed at the Delaware Coastal Airport + a large contingent of all types of planes that will flying on Saturday. The Historical Vintage Car Club of Delaware will once again be our car show coordinators. The US Naval Academy Parachute Team is also planning a return. Our Harbor Defense Group of WWII re-enactors will once again be on site as will be First State Skate Supply demonstrating and teaching skateboarding tips and tricks PLEASE STAY TUNED TO THE WEBSITE AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE PROCESS!! Parking is $5/vehicle. THERE WILL BE NO ONSITE PARKING AT THE AIRPORT THIS YEAR.

Wings & Wheels-Where the Sky meets the Road

Brought to you by the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce,  The Delaware Aviation Museum & The Historical Vintage Car Club of Delaware. Celebrating our 13th anniversary the popular Sussex County event on Saturday features a “fly in” of WWII-era and other vintage aircraft, huge classic car show, entertainment to be determined and various craft & food vendors. (this year there will be 2 food courts) The festival also includes WWII encampments & re-enactors,  and the ever popular, Pilot’s Flour Bombing competition.  For 2021, we will only have the Saturday event – 10/2/21.  We are excited for the return of the US Naval Academy Parachute Team & First State Skate Supply as well.
