We are hopeful that our event will take off as planned, so we are continuing to plan behind the scenes as we wait to hear all the opening steps the Governor is taking. SO, what to expect?? A huge display of WWII vintage aircraft, most housed at the Delaware Coastal Airport + a large contingent of all types of planes that will flying on Saturday. The Historical Vintage Car Club of Delaware will once again be our car show coordinators and they are planning for an even larger contingent of cars for you to see. Our Harbor Defense Group of WWII re-enactors will once again be on site as will be First State Skate Supply demonstrating and teaching skateboarding tips and tricks PLEASE STAY TUNED TO THE WEBSITE AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE PROCESS!! Parking is $5/vehicle. THERE WILL BE NO ONSITE PARKING AT THE AIRPORT THIS YEAR.

Wings & Wheels-Where the Sky meets the Road Brought to you by the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce,  The Delaware Aviation Museum & The Historical Vintage Car Club of Delaware. Celebrating our 13th anniversary the popular Sussex County event on Saturday features a “fly in” of WWII-era and other vintage aircraft, huge classic car show, local fan favorites DJ Sky Brady & Glass Onion and various craft & food vendors. The festival also includes WWII encampments & re-enactors,  and the ever popular, Pilot’s Flour Bombing competition.  The Pathways to Aviation program on Friday morning for  HS Freshman & Sophomores, this year targeting STEM and Aviation,  and our Friday night dinner party! We are excited for the return of the US Naval Academy Parachute Team & First State Skate Supply as well. Mark your calendars or Friday, June 2nd and Saturday, June 3rd!!!
